Coal mechanical grids + 2 heavy fuel n°2 burners placed on the two lateral walls.
90 tons of steam/hour, 80 bars, 500/510 °C.
25 hand steam soot removers used 3 times a day.
Preventive treatment GEPERSUIE C.F (DRIVEX 2100). tested in 1987 to relieve the personnel in charge of the generators soot removal.
After a 5 weeks campaign, it was demonstrated that it was possible to end night soot removal and only partly clean the clusters.
