 | FIELDS OF APPLICATION | |
All heat generators running on fuel-oil (heavy or residuary), coal, domestic or industrial waste incinerators in which clogging is mainly due to molten ashes or unburnt carbons.
|
 | GOALS | |
To create and keep on all generators heat exchangers, with periodical re-injections, a film of reactive particles designed to raise the fusibility temperature for the ashes and oxidize the unburnt carbons.
|
 | RESULTS | |
The heat-exchangers are kept clean, generating energy savings.
Loading losses remain stable hence a longer life-expectancy for the boilers.
Mechanical soot removers (if the generator has one) are more efficient and their use can be spaced generating more energy savings (steam, compressed air), maintenance.
Cleaning stoppages are less frequent hence a reduction in output losses.

 | DOSAGE | |
Dosages are calculated according to the problem at hand and the goals to reach.
An average dosage is from 200 to 300 ppm (2 to 3 kilos of reagent to 10 tons of fuel used).
|
 | APPLICATION | |
The reagent must be pulverized directly into the flame of a burner or above a bed of coals or burning waste using equipment provided by AIT DRIVEX. (See Technical Files for Injection Equipment and Injection Hoses.)
