Preventive treatment SP Nitro Nobel (powder) set from the boiler's construction date in agreement with boiler-maker SEUM, later replaced with liquid product GEPERSUIE C.F.(DRIVEX 2100).
Originally built without steam soot-removal system either in the super heater or in the convecting cluster. The sole economizer was steam-swept once every other day.
