 | FIELDS OF APPLICATION | |
All industrial heat generators running on fuel-oil (domestic, heavy or residuary), coal, wood and the recovery units downstream gas or domestic fuel operated engines in which clogging is mainly due to unburnt carbons.
|
 | GOALS | |
To create and keep on all the generators' heat-exchangers, with periodical re-injections, a film of reactive particles meant to lower the carbon's ignition point and generate its destruction by oxidation
|
 | RESULTS | |
The heat exchangers are kept clean generating energy savings.
The head losses remain stable.
SO3 retention lessens hence elimination of acid fumes.
Mechanical soot-removals (if the generator has been fitted with one) are more efficient and can be spaced out hence energy savings (steam, compressed air), maintenance…
Cleaning stoppages are less frequent hence a reduction of output losses.
|
 | DOSAGE | |
The dosages are calculated according to the problem at hand and the goals to reach
An average dosage is of 2 to 300ppm (2 to 3 kilos of reagent for 10 000 kilos of fuel used).
|
 | THE APPLICATION | |
DRIVEX 2000 must be pulverized directly into the flame of a burner or above the coal or wood-bed, or sprayed in the flue gases of the engine through equipment provided by AIT DRIVEX (see Technical files for Injection Hoses and Injection Equipment).
|
 | PHYSICO-CHEMICAL SPECIFICATIONS | |
DRIVEX 2000 is a light orange liquid reagent. It is chloride-free.
pH6.9
|
 | CONDITIONNING | |
DRIVEX 2000 is delivered in : - 20 and 220 kilos tanks, kegs and plastic barrels.
