 | FIELDS OF APPLICATION | |
All industrial heat generators running on heavy or residuary fuel, coal, recovery boilers downstream industrial or domestic waste incinerators in which clogging can be caused by unburnt carbons and molten ashes.
|
 | GOALS | |
To create and keep on all heat exchangers, with periodical re-injections, a film of high-fusion level reactive particles (= 2600°C).
Exclusively made with hydro soluble magnesium salts, the DRIVEX 2200 liquid reagent instantly decomposes in the flame and frees magnesium oxides particles (MgO) which are carried by the combustion gases into the heat-exchangers where thy settle down.
|
 | RESULTS | |
Interpositionned between the pipes and the deposits, a film with a very high fusion point creates a continuity solution in the deposits and keeps them from getting structured in a hard and adhesive shape.
Natural vibrations from the generator and/or the mechanical soot-removing systems (steam, compressed-air, etc…) will make the elimination of deposits easier.
Periodical cleaning will also be easier and faster.
Using the process immediately after a cleaning of the generator will seriously delay the first gratings.

 | DOSAGE | |
Dosage is determined according to the problem at hand and the goals to reach.
An average dosage is from 200 to 300 ppm (2 to 3 kilos of reagent per 10 tons of fuel used).
|
 | APPLICATION | |
The reagent must be pulverized directly into the flame of a burner or above a coal-bed or burning waste with equipment provided by AIT DRIVEX.
(See technical files for Injection Equipment and Injection Hoses).
